Murder One - May
Title: Body Language, Lying, and Manipulation
Instructor: Dr. Cynthia Lea Clark, PsyD
Class Description: Crossing one's arms - bored or cold? Playing with one's hair - interested or bored? Looking to the left - telling the truth or lying? Our body gives clues to what we are really thinking. What we are speaking may not be what we really mean. Every inch of our body speaks -- from the direction our feet point to, to how we shake hands, to how and if we lean and so much more. In this course we will tap into some of what the body is saying when we cross our legs or how we cross our legs, to smiles, to shoulder bounces, to handshakes, and much more. etc. We will explore the world of lying and tells. We will explore body language used to persuade/manipulate and how to use body language to not be persuaded/manipulated. How do you characters stand? Do they flirt? Are they sending the right signals?
