Murder One - 2008 June
An Interview with: Instructor: Frank Ahearn
Cheryl: Is there anything you'd like to add to the course description?
Frank: Over the years, doing the course, a part of me always held back on sharing
various types of information, however, this year Frank M. Ahearn is not holding back, he's a levy ready to break.
Cheryl: How does your course differ from other courses like this that might
be available?
Frank: This class is a mosaic of deception; it's about real people, real cases,
amazing tool sets and great resolutions.
Cheryl: Have you given a course like this and learned of someone's success
who's taken it?
Frank: As far as authors, yes, several contacted me after the class and wanted
me to advise them on a few matters. I think what happens is the class
creates different but unique possibilities for characters and plots
Cheryl: What do you hope students will take away from your course?
Frank: That imagination is inexhaustible! I built my business based upon such; I truly believed that if I was searching for someone, they left a lead. If I was trying to extract information from a company, I could figure how. If someone is looking to disappear, I would be better than the person searching for him or her would. The imagination is great be it fact or fiction.
Cheryl: How will multi-published authors benefit from taking your course?
Frank: Frank M. Ahearn can teach any old dog new tricks, be it real life or an online class. I'm the best at what I do, be it hunting people or hiding prey!
Cheryl: Stepping away from the course now, tell us a little about yourself. What kind of suspense do you like to read?
Frank: I'm an Elmore Leonard fan; I really like his characters. They are
subterranean creatures that I can identify with. In addition, I like how
people and places appear in different books.
I would like to try something new this year if possible. As opposed to
just giving examples of skip tracing would it be possible to have a few
volunteers, send me their name and the city they live in and I can give real
examples of skip tracing and information. Let me know.
Cheryl Wyatt:
Thank you, Frank!
